最近香港科技園連同本地數間大學合作，成立了一個新組織HKBAN (the Hong Kong Business Angel Network), 目的是鼓勵「天使投資」(Angel Investment)對本地初創科技或設計企業的投入。HKBAN將為這些尋求融資的初創企業，提供一個接觸「天使投資者」的平台。上星期六(13/3)，我獲邀出席了HKBAN舉辦的第一個聚會(HKBAN Investment Matching Gathering)。
這次聚會有五間科技公司，向出席的potential Angels推介自己的業務，有公司是做RFID，又有公司是做網上推廣，各具特色。在每一間公司的簡介後，都有一個時段，讓台下的potential Angels提問和發表意見。「天使投資者」可以成為初創企業的伯樂，其原因不單是本身具有資本實力，而且又有豐富的行業經驗。當日參加聚會的potential Angels，一部分是業內老朋友，亦有一些是新面孔，從對談間便可知道大家都是有經驗的行家。在議論和分享後，五間初創公司即使未能當場找到其「天使」馬上注資，但當中的建議和經驗分享也相當有價值。 我相信憑藉科技加上創意，有了好的方案和項目，不難在市場上找到立足點。如果你對HKBAN有興趣，不妨告知，我可以為你引介。

I am interested in developing a total sanitory solution to recycle potable water before dumping to the foul water drain.
The basic idea is:
1. Make drain pipe connections to collect drain from washing basin, luandry machine, shower to a central storage tank for feeding to the water closet tank in the toilet.
2. Each flushing will be followed by a small quantity of fresh water topping to the toilet bowl to avoid growth of germs and the spreading of smell.
